Very good food! Was great. Even better this time

Very nice.

Great food, quick service. Ordered the new mexican breakfast tacos and the asparagus skillet.

I went with my parents for the first time and everything was amazing food was great and the orange juice was amazing our waitress was the nicest ever I did not catch her name but she is tall hispanic and had some really nice nails she was amazing I 100% recommend eating here all these bad comments are crazy people.

The food and service were excellent. They offer good gluten-free options, and the portions are very large.

Only 2 bathroom stalls. Lots of great options for food.

Very good food! Was great.

A great find for gluten free breakfast and lunch. It was a little hard to find but well worth it. Incredible gf toast. Tastes homemade.

Me & my husband love coming here for breakfast. The food is always good I absolutely love the red velvet French toast its my favorite! Customer service A1 today my waitress was Monica she was very friendly, polite, attentive & quick with our order. She even made sure my to go order was made in time for me to leave so it would still be hot.

Monica is a very good waitress and she takes very good care of her customers always. The food is very good and has a fabulous food. Has different kinds of food Breakfast all day lunch, dinner before 2:30pm

Great food. Everything fresh and well prepared. Friendly staff. Monica and Roselynn never disappoint. We go for breakfast every morning!

Good food

Always an excellent experience eating here. Best orange juice and biscuits and gravy in town. Monica is an absolutely fantastic server!!!
Thank you guys as always :)

Great food and staff is always friendly. Love their biscuits and gravy!

Excellent restaurant! Love coming here for breakfast. Everything weve had has been excellent - the blueberry pancakes are out of this world! The skillets are fabulous! The staff are friendly and attentive. Will continue to visit and support this local business.

We really like this place. Food always great, awesome service. When we visit Rockford, we eat there everyday.

Best customer service ever. Also, the food is amazing.

Great food and staff is always friendly

Got the California club through delivery and it was SO good! Very fresh ingredients. Awesome quality food here!

Best hash browns around

Loved that smash burger

The service is what keeps us coming back! The menu has a wide variety and the food is always good. Sometimes its great but always good. The prices are good too. Plenty of free parking and hardly ever have to wait for a table.

Fabulous meal. Excellent service. Huge menu. Friendly staff.

I love their latte!!!!!!! Definitely a sleeper if youre a Starbucks girly who just wants to try a local place. YUMMMMMMMM!

This place is a nice, quiet spot for breakfast, and it seems to be pretty popular! The pancakes were actually really good the syrup added the right amount of sweetness, but they had something special about them that I really enjoyed. I'll definitely be back to try more since they have such a wide menu!

Great breakfast food, was nice place to meet someone .. Fast fair prices...

Very good food!

Not many places have a good breakfast every time u go but they always show up yummy.,!!

Our "go-to" for breakfast. Homemade, nice size portions, reasonably priced. Moderately busy most times, but we always get a table almost immediately or within a couple of minutes.

Stopped in for breakfast after flying into Rockford. Huge menu! Hot coffee! Specials and quite an array of different selections to choose. Host sat us immediately and waitress was very attentive and offered suggestions ti help narrow down exactly what we should have. Would definitely recommend and stop in again.

My favorite casual breakfast/brunch spot! The staff isn't the most cheerful, but you can't expect them to go above and beyond with customer service every time. Food always slaps

Best Sunday breakfast spot in town. My go to while on vacation.

Always friendly and good food. The service is good as well. They have good spirit about them.

If you don't study the menu before you get there you will be shocked. I studied online but not enough and still had a hard time. Everything on the menu looks awesome and all 3 of our meals were just that. The kitchen staff at the ready was impressive. Our waitress was friendly and attentive as well as her coworkers. Best restaurant in a while!!

Very Friendly Owners & Staff Members, Prompt Service, Delicious Food, and wide variety of comfort & healthy meal choices. What a pleasant surprise if you happen to be there when a regular Kind Gentlman customer is giving out TeaCup Roses. These are from his beloved departed Wife's Garden that he continues to maintain in her Honor.

The food here is so good. Go for breakfast or brunch, you wont be disappointed.

It is a good place to have breakfast/brunch. You'll eat plenty of good food. You'll have a pretty good choice. What more can be asked?

Had a very good omelet there. I would recommend a good place to go. I was there with another.

My first time here and I will be back. The food and service here are absolutely 5 Star The prices are very reasonable too .

Waitress was on top of everything.

Typical diner atmosphere with great food, excellent value. Good service. Definitely worth the trip. Jerry's Meaty Skillet was terrific. Got it with no bread and a side of bacon.

Place was great! Caught our waiter snatching a bite of the freshly made Jerry's Meaty Skillet. Didn't really mind, just wish he would have asked.

They now have gluten free pancakes and french toast (and ALMOST NOBODY bothers to do that!) also their entire menu is clearly marked which items are Gluten-Free / gluten-friendly. It's not the nicest spot and the bathrooms are a little small and kinda gross, but there are restaurants that have much higher prices that aren't this accommodating for GF patrons.
Probably my new favorite breakfast spot in Rockford.

Amazing gluten free option. They have gluten-free French toast and pancakes.

Great place to have breakfast, amazing food

Nice selections, great good, pleasant atmosphere.

Food was good. Went for lunch. Has soup and sandwich. Service slow. Definitely could be cleaner.

Consistently great food and service

Good food and quick service.

Fantastic breakfast. All around.

I got orange juice, chocolate cake, tomato soup, fries, a whole sandwich (grilled chicken, cheese, tomato and avocado) for $23.00 which seemed like a whole plate and a half of food for a good price, and was tasty! Went here after church I also like it they have 3 locations, 2 in Beloit and 1 in Rockford. God Bless

Good food, nice people. Nothing fancy.

Ate at Jerry's this morning and it was really good. A friend and I try different breakfast places every month and Jerry's ranks toward the top. I had their meat lovers burrito and added jalapeos for extra effect. It was delicious!

One of my favorite brunch restaurants. The best, most attentive staff and service anywhere. Great selections and unique offerings. Highly recommended!

My first time here and I will be back. The food and service here are absolutely 5 Star

It was our first time here for my husband n I.. It was delicious. We will definitely be back. Staff is nice. N my server with the pretty eyes was great. Thank you.

The service is very good as is the food. Also reasonable prices.
It's a local cafe.

Great place for breakfast.

The food was good, the service was good, the booth was uncomfortable

The door country melt is delicious!! Great food for the price and large lunch portions. Skillets are a little small but the flavor is there.

It was a very nice Cafe, I was there for breakfast, excellent french toast, Very good service.

We are new foodies to Rockford, we saw the nice reviews about this place and we are so glad we decided to try them out. The food was amazing and our server was super sweet. Definitely coming back!
Plus,Hablan Espaol

Great food very clean! And great service will be back!

They have a HUGE brunch menu, though many items are variations on a theme (4+ variations of eggs Benedict, e.g.). Our food was very good and somewhat reasonably priced. Recommend, though the ambiance cries out strip mall, the food is tasty.

The service was great. The food great. They let us talk and didn't rush us at all. They g
Had plenty I'd room and tables.

It's my 1st time. Many people recommended it to me.
The food was great. Well seasoned, fritatta. Very nice portion size

One of my top 2 favorite breakfast restaurants in Rockford. Have never had a bad meal here!

The place for breakfast in Rockford. I got the barbacoa skillet and she got the biscuits with gravy. The skillet was phenomenal and I highly recommend it. It comes with fresh jalapenos so if you don't like spicy you can take those out. The biscuits with gravy were flavorful and tasted home made. The surprise were the pancakes which came with the skillet. I didn't want to put syrup on them because it would ruin the taste. Definitely check Jerry's Cafe.

I loved this place

This place is amazing and very clean!

There are a variety of food options especially for those who have food allergies. I got the lobster Benedict which was pretty good. The atmosphere is like a classic diner and there is much room for seating. The servers were very kind and the food came out very very quick!

Great food?

Food is above average for the price in Rockford. Staff is quick and pleasant. We got a hello when we came in and a have a good day day when we left.

Only critique is that the decoration does feel very "I have 50 dollars at hobby lobby and need to furnish this restaurant". But who cares? The food is great.

The food was outstanding, service was fast and polite. Best breakfast food I've had in some years.

Best breakfast around

We are vegetarian, and their egg white omelet is super delicious! It includes onions, green peppers, red peppers and spinach. So good! And you can add peppers and onions to their extra crispy hash browns. My husband and I really enjoyed our breakfast! Can't show a picture 'cause I ate every bite!

Was there to celebrate my friend and my birthday. Food was very good I had an omelette hash brown and swedish pancake. My only complaint was that the waitress forgot my request for sugar free syrup and by the time I got it my pancake was cold. Everyone else enjoyed their food. Plentiful and tasty and very reasonably priced.

After along morning doing the spa thang and a little Macy Perfume stop, A Gal needed a little brunch for 1, just ME TIME. A little Gem thats no soo fancy but have excellent customer service and great food, quietly displayed across the street from my Church, City First!!! Wanted a small little something and their mouth watering Shrimps & grits came to mind. Had that with biscuit and a side of bacon, and the must have lingonberry sauce, and a warm cup of coffee for sure. I enjoyed everything to the end. Ooh I did have leftover to take home. This will always be my Shrimp and Grits spot

Grits n shrimp pancakes biscuits scrumptious love the atmosphere and staff friendly!

10/10 celiac safe and delicious. i asked for the gluten free french toast with the lemon poppyseed topping and it absolutely blew my mind.

My 1st time here... I had the meaty skillet.. $12.99 plus tax.. The food is good.... The portion size was generous... Very clean tables and chairs..

Service was a bit slow, but the food was quick. That being said, my pancakes were tender and fluffy and I didn't need syrup. Omelette was massive and packed with fillings. American fries are seasoned beautifully and have a lot of flavor. Will definitely be back

I am giving 5 stars because the food looked great, the staff was super friendly and the restaurant was clean and inviting. The only thing I can say was first the pancakes were a bit cakey which I had seen from a few other reviews. Second my food was good but I ordered a skillet which was a make your own and there were a small amount of hash browns. I ordered a skillet with bacon, sausage and mushroom with cheddar cheese. There was a very small amount of hash browns but it was good. There was an extreme amount of bacon a few mushrooms and a few sausage. I also ordered a French vanilla cappuccino which in my opinion was powdered and had not enough water but, the fresh whip cream on top was an absolute dream. My skillet had a choice of English muffin, toast or pancakes and I chose pancakes. My son just ordered a pancake combo which consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes. I tried his pancakes and took mine home. They did taste like cake almost like something in the batter doesnt make them rise when cooked. I am giving this 5 stars like I said above because it was a good breakfast and great service. There is a very large menu and very unique things to choose from.

Very yummy eggs Benedict and fast service.

Delicious food and friendly staff, with excellent value. Your dish presentation is excellent! I went to Jerrys Caf Brynwood for breakfast with some fellow retirees and had a delicious breakfast: Lobster and Eggs Benedict with fresh fruit. What a treat!
I mentioned this in my Facebook post, and tagged your restaurant. I enjoy giving kudos to independent businesses! Update: Always delicious!

Great service and food!

Tons of breakfast options! Nice change from traditional egg platters

Reasonable price except the soda...we all know it should be cheaper.

But the food is pretty good and the service was too.

Everything was very good.

Very good

Had the corned beef Benedict. Excellent food here, portions are a value. Staff is all over it.

Small local business, good select, clean place, good service. They beat all the big corporate restaurants' hands down.

Very small and always full of guests. Tables are close.
Very great food. It's worth bumping elbows.

Best bacon avocado omelet around!

The breakfast burrito was very good. Our server was very nice, and was dedicated to making our experience the best it can be. The blueberry pancakes are very good, and they taste more like cake than pancakes.

This gem is the Best Breakfast and most Fabulous COFFEE in town!!

The staff were very very welcome, accommodating, and overall nice. Food was diner food so nothing spectacular, but pretty good. Would go back just because they were so nice.

Literally SOO good, food is amazing and the service is quick! The general atmosphere could use some work, but people are generally happy to be in there so that's a plus. There is no gap between you and the kitchen so be aware of that.

Got the bacado omelet which was pretty good! Service was prompt, just wish I had more jam with my taste hehe

I absolutely love their food and great service!

It was good.. a little pricey. Also although my Nutella French toast was delicious but it wasnt hot. We also had to wait to be served. Had to ask for a waitress. Everyone around us was being served when we were there before everyone else.

Three of us came to Jerry's Cafe for lunch today. We had the Barbacoa Quesadilla, Chicken Pecan Salad, and a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup. Everything was delicious and prepared perfectly. Our wonderful server was Miss Nicole S. She took care of our every need.... Jerry's Cafe, also puts out an absolutely delicious breakfast.....

Food was good but two sm diet cokes was $6.50. Too expensive for pop.

Service was great, asked for a lot but she did awesome. Definitely be back when Im in town. Food was great.

Jalapeo Skillet and the Power Skillet are

Excellent..

Food was amazing! Good size portions, customer service was excellent & most of all they have the best pancakes Ive ever had :)

Cute, clean place! Our service was excellent, the food came out quickly even though the establishment was relatively busy. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, my husband ordered the chicken noodle soup. Very tasty meal for a low price! We will be back again.

Food was great atmosphere was awesome ...only thing is the server didn't check in as much and we seemed like an afterthought we would definitely be back just wanted Give feedback

French toast, bacon, and fresh juice are some of the best we have tried in Rockford in a while. The decor is very cute and fitting of the farm vibe. The hosts were accommodating and kind. The manager and wait staff team up to ensure coffee cups are filled and everyone is satisfied. Would definitely recommend going here. The quantity and quality of the food go above the price. Portions are bigger than that of other breakfast spots yet the same price and even cheaper!

Tuscany chicken quesdilla is amazing! It's going to become a regular thing.

Best blueberry pancakes around! My husband had the quesadilla & ate every single bite!

Food was delicious and the wait staff was attentive and friendly.

Great place, great service, even better food!

Asked for mwell done got it just about burnt burger.k

Excellent food and service. I went for a late lunch, arrived 10 minutes prior to close and was seated and served, never rushed. Hostess and waitress were Great. I definitely will be back. Going to try the breakfast next time.

Usually get the rosti, but the barbacoa skillet was AMAZING. So good. Food came out crazy fast.

Be sure and order the door county. Excellent food. Family run.

A group of us go to Jerry's twice a month. They have great food. Very nice people. It is clean with great service. I highly recommend you try it.

Good food Good service. I would recommend Jerry's to all my friends

Love this place, food is good and prices are reasonable

Great menu! Gluten free options, and the chef really makes it great!

Hello Everyone,
Words cannot describe the yumminess of my meal I had for breakfast but Im going to try! First of all, you tell me where in Rockford you can find shrimp and grits? Its funny how my best friend and I talked about it not too long ago how we missed that coming from VA after our time in the service. Then I decided to try Jerrys Cafe and what did I see, SHRIMP & GRITS! This plate had as you can see bacon, green onion, cilantro, melted shredded cheese in the grits with medium sized pieces of whole shrimp! The bacon is the thick sliced kind not the skimpy thin. I had the biscuit with it instead of toast but I noticed it came with a little cup of butter with a dab of honey in it! How thoughtful was that? Of course there was I believe their signature raspberry spread on the side as well. Needless to say, that meal was it for me for the rest of the day and It was exactly what I needed! I appreciated my waiter who served me that wonderful dish and provided me my styrofoam cup to take my drink to go. I had a lot of garage sales to go to since it was a beautiful day finally! The location is perfect for those who finish playing golf, with a course right up the street! Along with Rock Valley College and Guilford High a stretch away! I was seated right away without any wait so I strongly suggest you add this place to your top five list of your dives to go to!

I recommend the Door County chicken salad sandwich. Flavorful with a nice whole grain bread

The food was very good, the dishes were well served, the waiters were very friendly.

Very delightful.

Great breakfast please with some South of the Border options on the menu. I had the shrimp and grits! Good choice

We enjoyed our breakfast this was our first time eating here, definitely will be going back

We are from Des Moines, IA, and visiting some friends in Rockford. We went to Jerry's for breakfast. I ordered the Jerry's All Meat Skillet and I could only eat half of it. It was so full of meat that it filled me up quickly. Basically two meals in one. Delicious! I also ordered a cup of grits because I can't always find them on menus. The grits were done just right. I wish we had more restaurants in Des Moines like Jerry's. I would highly recommend a stop at Jerry's.

I love this place. It's a family restaurant with a decided Mexican influence. Great for weekend brunch. I had been to their restaurant in Beloit and was happy to see them open a place 3 minutes from my house.

Great tasting food, nicely varied menu at good prices.

Food never disappoints! This place is amazing for breakfast and lunch!!

Having just moved to the area I think Ive found my breakfast place! The cinnamon roll French toast is Amazing!!! The grits for not being made in the south was really good too. Customer service was friendly and food was quick! We are definitely going back and I suggest everyone try this if youre in the area!

We've gotten delivery from here a few times now, and it's honestly one of our favorite places to eat.
It's the 4th place in town we've tried Swedish pancakes from, and theirs are, by far, the best.
The Tuscan French toast is to die for. You truly do feel like you're in Italy at a cafe in the summer when you eat it.
The skillets are delicious as well. They give more than enough food (and the pancakes are HUGE), and it's always fresh.

I had the mixed fajitas steak and chicken. So tasty!
The place was very clean!

Thank you for the birthday surprise.
The staff here is amazing.

The food was great and the service was better than many other restaurants. Family loves it will definitely go back again.

Today was my first visit, but I was impressed with the variety of food offered. The Avocado Benedict that I got was delicious! The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly.

Delicious, fresh ingredients and lots of options. Highly recommend skillet veggie scramble. Able to make children's French toast gluten-free and was a hit-picture below.

Delicious, courteous and clean as always

best breakfast place in Rockford!

Good food great prices spectacular service

Food was great. Awesome service and the waiter was very helpful and great. Overall come stop by you'll love it.

Good service.Great food.

Great selections on the menu and the food was very good.

As someone who NEVER finishes their plate of food, I ate every last bite of my brunch. The Autumn French Toast was AMAZING! The coffee is good, the eggs were cooked to perfection, four of us went and ordered totally different things and everyone was extremely happy with our food and service (Karen) 10/10 would recommend.

Best kept secret in Rockford!

Great food! Many unique dishes too. Great prices too

Okay but the food was absolutely fantastic and the staff was so kind. I adore the sweet ambiance of a classic sit down breakfast diner. The jazz type music really made it all too. This restaurant might just be my new favorite place in Rockford. Thank you for your wonderful service, fantastic food, and amazing restaurant altogether! I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I visited this place for breakfast with hubby and the food is delicious and everything taste fresh and well cooked. The staff is very attentive and helpful and the premises look very clean.

Id recommend it as a nice place to go with family o friends.

Absolutely delicious their skillets and shrimp and grits are well worth the price

Absolutely love the food at Jerrys Cafe. Their staff is so helpful in addressing dietary needs and have gluten free french toast, pancakes, and so much more. This is my favorite place to eat in Rockford.

We were driving through and I'm so glad we decided to stop. The habanero hash was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Also the salsa is so good we bought a jar to take home.

The food was delicious. The service was very good.

Nice little family restaurant

Super service. Excellent food. Reasonably priced. What more can you ask for? This is definitely my new favorite breakfast restaurant. So many delicious looking menu items to try!

Good food, reasonable prices.

Very good food & service.

We go here couple times a month. The food is ALWAYS good. Yesterday I had avocado, bacon, spinach and tomato eggs Benedict. Excellent!!!! Service is great and servers friendly.

Amazing food. The blueberry pancakes were made to perfection; so tasty with the blueberries folded in and sprinkled with a touch of powdered sugar I did not even need the syrup. Very friendly, light atmosphere with nice piano music playing over the speakers. Highly recommend this place! Jerry is on the chef line, btw.

First time and it was delicious!! So in that area stop and eat there !! Great staff ! Put it on list !

Great food at great prices!

Cute little breakfast, brunch, and lunch place! They had gluten free options as well which worked great for me.

Great breakfast and great service

First time coming here and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent. I had the lobster scramble and my husband had the biscuits and gravy meal. I will definitely be back!

Great place for breakfast! I had the Jerry's Meaty Skillet with Pancakes instead of English muffin. It was delicious and I love the new Menus! New items too!

Good place to have breakfast and lunch Recommend 10/10

Outstanding biscuits an gravy an the staff are Great.

My daughter and I really enjoyed ourselves and the food was delicious.

Hands down THE BEST breakfast in all of Rockford. Super fresh ingredients, delicious and creative options. Staff has always been prompt and pleasant. I would definitely go out of my way to come here.

This place has great food and great service. Good coffee too!

OMG!! My first time here, I had never heard of this place. I had a craving for shrimp and grits and Yelp lead me here. Nice menu selections, good service and amazing food. Prepared and cooked like they care. This my new spot!

Food is good especially for the $. I would have given it 5 stars if I hadn't been charged 75 cents for a few onions. I know that onions are extremely cheap so when I'm charged for them I think it's petty. I would go there again but no added onions!

The door county chicken salad and half sandwich is the perfect lunch for me. However sometimes I am very tempted by the pancake special. I had pumpkin pancakes this weekend. A great thing about Jerry's is they can accommodate our group that varied from 2 two 10. It's clean and spacious.

My wife brought me in for my first time. The service was fantastic, and the young man who waited on us was able to accommodate my wife's special needs. The food was great diner breakfast food and reasonably priced. The menu had plenty of options without being overwhelming.

What a wonderful place for a great meal. The food, service and cleanliness is outstanding. I recommend this place to everyone.

Great restaurant!

My wife and I had never been here and wow, what a surprise. The menu was well put together and easy to paruse. Service and the food were outstanding. This has got to be one of the best hidden spots in Rockford. Definitely worth the trip.

Cheap fast and good food

Thank you for the birthday surprise.
The staff here is amazing.

Great environment, big space, friendly staff, and amazing food (with BIG portions)! Egg Harbor themselves recommends Jerrys Cafe. Definitely a place everyone should check out!

Tasty . Yummy. Tuscan sandwich tweeked. Try it with out zucchini or articoke. Add mayo n bacon. Fresh not grilled spinach. Mmmmmmm

Food was great. Awfully noisy. Waitress made several mistakes

Awesome and delicious food! Everything and I mean EVERYTHING is homemade. Staff is very friendly and they have new specials every week! Definitely a place everyone should try!

Great service and great food!!

My name is Joe Evers and I am a critic from Elgin Illinois. When I heard about Jerry's Cafe being similar to Egg Harbor, I knew I had to check the place out.

Lets start with our pros... Food is astonishing! Me personally would say there Door County chicken salad is greater than Egg Harbors! You can taste the freshness in their food, the presentation is wonderful, and the portions are very generous. The cook looks like he knows what hes doing and I give him a 5 star.

For the cons... Service looks fair, my server was guy named Cris, He looked like a good man but the way he took my order and other tables order was really awful. For starters, he came to me asking if I was ready to order. Not once had he came to my table before, so I had no drink and for it being my first time in the restaurant he goes and says Ready to order boss? What a greeting. With his other tables he would lean on the booth or sit with customers which is really unprofessional. The other waitress gave me more attention than Cris. Deya was amazing, although her English was tad off she was far a better server than Cris. There should also be a no phone policy, both servers would be on their phone. The only attentive server there was Deya, Cris apparently has to finish his text message with his lover before he pays attention to customers.

Besides all that I would say Jerrys Cafe is a great treat. Hopefully in the future the place upgrades it decoration and expands its tables because I know forsure this place will be a success. They should consider getting rid of servers like Cris, his skill is terrible. Not even the cheapest restaurants have servers like him. I hope to be back with a better review.

Never had bad service or meal from here. This is one nice gem in the area.

Pretty good place. Met family for breakfast, everything looked wonderful, got rave reviews from everyone (7 people), I only had tea & a cinnamon roll this time but DO plan on going back soon. It's a small, cozy place in a good location, tons of parking space, very nice employees, generous portions, good menu with a wide variety of dishes. Don't miss this one!

Very nice local cafe. We have been there a few times for breakfast where they have a large variety of good choices. Food and service was both quick and good. Nice walk for us so we will be back.

The place is small but very comfort. The staff is very nice and the food is delicious.

Food is great and prices are right. The restaurant definitely need a professional update. It is difficult to feel comfortable there.

Had several different meals, all were very good. Friendly and attentive service.

This place has good food and large portions. The coffee doesn't taste the best but the servers keep it filled. Prices area a little higher than other breakfast joints but not bad. They have breakfast burritos--which more breakfast restaurants should have. Pay at the table, not the register.

Beautiful breakfast

I love this place good food

Nice mix of American classics with a Mexican twist. Creative specials, and an affordable kids menu. Gracious service. Try the grits and eggs (photo)!

great food and great service!

One of my favorite restaurants. Excellent service and delicious food. Hint...if you liked Egg Harbor you will love Jerry's

The chicken noodle soup was the best I have had eating out anywhere.

Food is EXCELLENT!!! My family and I enjoyed everything we got and the service was great too!

I loved this place

Great restaurant!

Great poppy seed pancakes

Great food, cozy and friendly.

Good service, good food, kinda pricey for breakfast.

Great food! Lots of food for the price. I almost want to give a bad review so the place doesn't get crowded, but just can't say anything bad.

One of my favorite restaurants. Excellent service and delicious food.

Very good and different food.

This is in my top three favorite breakfast places in Rockford. I can't decide what order the top three are in but it would be this place Johnny pamcakes and Gill's Diner. The Jerrys special breakfast with their awesome sausage gravy is my favorite but I also like their omelets and skillets. And the service is usually pretty quick and friendly if they're not too busy.

Best breakfast in town

Delicious!

Amazing food! I go weekly & great staff!

Loud, but tasty food, especially the pumpkin pancakes!

The food is awesome and the service is wonderful. Everyone is very nice!

Great place for breakfast! Highly recommended. Corned beef hash skillet pictured. Very good.

Friendly people. Lot of space not to be on top of each other.
Relaxing. Freshly made dishes not canned.
Never once had s complaint. Highly recommended.

Always a pleasure.

So glad Jerry's is close by now

Nice place. Traditional diner breakfast menu. Reasonable prices. Service was quick and polite. Food was good. My wife had the Corned Beef Benedict. The corned beef was made in house and she liked it as well as the Benedict. I had the Texas Frittata. Very good. If the menu says jalapeno, they use enough to make your nose run! The space was not noisy. You could carry on a conversation without shouting. That is rare in restaurants these days.

Always a good breakfast here. Lots of unique freshly made options like their hot sauce, salsa, and jam.

Great breakfast skillet!

Can"t go wrong very good food, nice atmosphere. The waitress we had was a little inattentive Had to motion her for check. Not that busy our coffee was gone before they came with more
Presentation of food as wonderful as the taste. I will be back waitress just step it up.

Delicious, freshly made meals, friendly staff. A favorite place to meet and catch up with friends.

Good Sunday breakfast place.

Awesome place, fair prices, great service. A page of gluten free choices

Typically, I frequent Jerry's Cafe about three times a week after swimming and working out at Peak Sports. The food is good and the wait staff is attentive and friendly. The Quinoa Skillet made with the eggs poached is my favorite.

Food was delicious and service was wonderful. Will definitely go back!

Great breakfast, very nice and attentative servers. Thumbs up!!

First time there and it was a good four stars. Have to go back to see if it was a fluke or it really is good eating! Not fancy inside and the place is actually quite large. I had the chicken fried steak skillet that was on special and it was very rib sticking. I ate half as it was huge. My friend had the breakfast burrito which he kept saying was great and my other friend had the steak and eggs. She enjoyed hers also. Better yet this place serves Coke product which is getting harder to find. Thank you Jerry's! Oh, our waiter was very attentive too. We will be back, fair warning!

One of the best places in the Rockford area for breakfast or brunch. Generally open until 2p. Across from first Rockford church so it can get really busy after mass. Recommend the omlettes, skillets and the pancakes. Friendly staff that know you by name and greet you every time with a smile. Be sure to try the sweedish pancakes which aren't on the menu!

Great food

Large menu, clean & friendly atmosphere and good food.

Very good

The food portions are generous and it is fresh homemade food. The chilaquiles are great and come with fresh fruit. A bit pricy for me to make it a regular breakfast spot but I definitely will go back often. They need to salt their lot better when it is icy as it was very slick when we went.

Good food great atmosphere

Good food, good prices, nice staff. Decor is not inviting, very cold, wish I had a sweater.

Service was great, food was very good with huge portions. Spacing between groups was very good.

The San Antonio plate very very good.

I loved Jerry's!! Super sweet waitress and very great food!! I will be coming to Jerry's again. I think it's taken over my favorite breakfast joint in Rockford

My new favorite place to go for gluten free choices. The GF Door County chicken salad is the best. I've had both in a GF sandwich or on a green salad. The service is friendly and attentive.

Delicious! Great breakfast menu. Lots of items on the menu and it's all good. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

Great food and service. Our favorite after church dining choice.

One of the best steak skillets around.

First time visit and definitely wont be my last. The service was exceptional and the food delicious. It's nice to see Mom and Pop diners are still around making good food at a decent price. Not like the chain restaurants with boring assembly line type food.

Great place for breakfast! Highly recommended. Corned beef hash skillet pictured. Very good.

Amazing food! I go weekly & great staff!

Delicious food and remarkable service! The food portions are huge and the strawberry orange juice is amazing. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is incredibly friendly. I will definitely come back again and again!

WOW! This little place has a giant breakfast menu -- and it is SO GOOD!!!! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and flavor can be compared to the finest restaurants, even though this is just a simple cafe in a strip mall (hopefully the much-too-plain decor will improve after some time goes on). Lots of unique options -- four big menu pages worth! Gourmet touches to full array of breakfasts basics, seven kinds of benedicts, twelve versions of breakfast skillets, ten styles of omelettes, plus a multitude of frittatas and scrambles. Crepes, biscuits & gravy, and YES! Swedish pancakes too :-)

Loved this place. Prices high but worth it. Large menu with a bunch of selections too.
Nice clean place. Went there for breakfast, lots of options. Many breakfast selections have a Hispanic flair with Jalopenos , peppers or a Spanish inclusion to the dish. There was several Spanish waitresses. All very friendly. One kept coming around even though she wasn't my server to check my coffee level. Another asked if I needed anything. They all seemed to cover each others backs . And the food was spectacular! Had a combo of biscuits & gravy with 2 eggs over easy with bacon and sausage. Didnt have to eat again till dinner time! Fluffy light biscuits with chunks of sausage in the gravy. Kinda down home like. The only problem I had, was locating this place which was in a shopping center. 5 stars all the way baby! Do go there! Your stomach will smile!

I recommend any of their skillets! Delicious options and ample portions!! This is my favorite breakfast location and I am glad they decided to add this as a second location. Friendly staff and I haven't encountered a wait to be seated! Great gluten free options!

Came here with my girlfriend's for lunch. I haven't been here since it used to be an asian restaurant. The inside still looks the same, with some changes to some decor.

Our server was very attentive to our table & ensured we kept getting refilled with our beverages. From the reviews, I've heard the portions were pretty big for the price & they were right! My friend even got a half sandwich with soup & salad & her half sandwich was like the size of a whole sandwich.

I ended up playing it safe & getting the traditional breakfast & it was more than enough. My other friend couldn't even finish her meal & the plan was to share the French toast. I was able to eat at least half of out. We opted to try it with the nutella and bananas, it was yummy!

I could see this spot being around for a while as long as their portions stay the same & is reasonably priced. I plan to come back on a different occasion to try something else out.

Excellent menu, healthy choices, clean, great service. I've been here four times for breakfast. The staff are personable and the food is great.

Great local cafe. We have been there a couple of times for breakfast. They have a wide variety of good choices. Food and service was quick and good. A little pricey but it since they have large portions.

Rockford has a great many establishments that serve a quality breakfast. This establishment is not unlike any number of small diners and would be easy to overlook due to it's unassuming appearance. To do so would be a mistake at your expense. In the otherwise very ordinary diner, you will find food of superior quality notably lacking in locations of similar appearance. In addition to the best breakfast skillets I have had the pleasure of eating in the area, there is home made hot sauce available to complement an already superior meal. Prices are competitive despite offering a superior product compared to the often more expensive competition. The coffee and service provided further separates this establishment from the large pack of similar places competing for your business. The decor is truly the only average thing about this otherwise exemplary morning destination.

Nothing really stood out to me but their variety gives them an extra star. I ordered chilaquiles with chicken expecting the shredded stuff and it ended up being the pre-cut processed stuff you buy in a frozen bag and reheat so that was a bummer because the rest was decent. The eggs were cooked perfectly and they had a good fruit cup that wasn't all honeydew. Also they have a LOT of healthier options for those eating light. Overall not a bad place for breakfast.

One of my favorite restaurants. Excellent service and delicious food. Hint...if you liked Egg Harbor you will love Jerry's

Nice mix of American classics with a Mexican twist. Creative specials, and an affordable kids menu. Gracious service. Try the grits and eggs (photo)!

This place has good food and large portions. The coffee doesn't taste the best but the servers keep it filled. Prices area a little higher than other breakfast joints but not bad. They have breakfast burritos--which more breakfast restaurants should have. Pay at the table, not the register.
